About
About Sierra & Pine
Some of my earliest memories are centered around crafting. Sitting by my mother’s side. Learning to paint ceramics, or the quiet of my knitting needles clicking against each others, or even the swiftness of crocheting a new dishcloth. That rush of pride when I completed my first sewing project or made my first loaf of bread. That perfect, peaceful balance between the excitement of a new craft and the quiet joy of being present with your project.
Sierra & Pine was born out of a desire to bottle up that feeling and share it with you.
When you explore the shop, you’ll find that I don’t just see stitch markers and pins as crafting "tools". I see them as jewelry for your knitting or crochet projects, created to increase the enjoyment of this hobby we share. These stitch marker sets are hand-assembled using semi-precious gemstones, Austrian crystals, glass beads, cute resin and whimsical charms. They are designed to add a bit of sparkle to your crafts and make every project feel more like a creative celebration than a "work-in-progress".
Beyond the accessories, you'll find a collection of original knitting patterns. Each one is inspired by the Sierra Nevada or the Bay Area, and has been tested and tech-edited to ensure your knitting experience is as smooth as possible.
Ready to cast on? Here’s a quick guide:
- For the Uninitiated: Grab your favorite bulky yarn and cast on the Easy Peasy Hat.
- For the Aspiring Colorwork Artist: Dip your toes into new techniques with the Snowshoe Hat or the Snowcapped Cowl.
- For a Touch of Texture: If you love textured knits, the popular Sebastien Baby Blanket is waiting for you.
- For the Adventurous Knitter: If you’re ready for a challenge, jump into the exciting Pine Tree Hat or the Adventure Awaits set.
And once in a while, I'll introduce new crafts for you to dip your toes in. Because on can never have too many crafts. So, no matter where you are in your crafting journey, there is something here created specifically to bring you joy.

I do have a social media presence, but admittedly I fail way too often to post regularly, and have no interest in joining the hamster wheel of keeping up with the latest algorithm update to make sure you actually CAN see my content (looking at you, Meta!).
The newsletter is the best way to stay in touch! I promise to only fill your inbox with good stuff: new releases, updates, interesting articles, and the occasional free downloadable.
Let’s make something beautiful together.
