I've been knitting for over ten years, and full disclosure, I've always done my SSKs the traditional way. In three steps. Slip, slip, knit.
But lately, I stumbled on this great video tutorial by Patty Lyons showing how to SSK in a single step.
If you're a long time subscriber to this shop, you already know I'm a big fan of Patty Lyons. I've attended a few of her classes, and follow her social media channels diligently. I also own her book "Patty Lyon's Knitting Bag of Tricks" (get the book here at The Woolly Thistle. Support small businesses! #notsponsored). If you want to improve your knitting skills, I highly recommend following her and/or attending some of her classes.

I've been trying out this method on my current WIP, and it's quick, easy, and fun! Give it a shot next time you want to use a left-leaning decrease.
So, here's the video.
